And yet she won the first prize at a Japanese amateur flute convention when she was only a high-school student. After finishing school, Yumi graduated from Toho Gakuen Music School in Japan and she is a qualified school music teacher. Yumi released her first CD “Maximum Love” in 1994. In the same year, she performed in and co-hosted a music TV program on Japanese TV. Yumi has also performed at numerous live concerts in Japan.
She is very please to be enticed away from her English conversation studies to participate in the CAT concert series!
